Xyzal® tablets are suitable for patients aged 6 years and older who experience hay fever or other respiratory allergy symptoms. Liquid Xyzal® is suitable for children 2 years and above.
Drowsiness may occur. In clinical studies where Xyzal® was administered at night, 6% of users experienced drowsiness. Xyzal® should be taken at night, and users should be careful if driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.

Xyzal® may interact with alcohol, other medicines that can cause drowsiness (cold or allergy medicines, sedatives, narcotics, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, medicine for seizures, depression or anxiety), ritonavir, or theophylline.16
